Release Ancestral Money Patterns
In this post, I’m going to be breaking down some common generational energy patterns I see in my private clients (want to work together? We’re diving into how to release ancestral money blocks.
The truth? So much of what we manifest in our lives is directly connected to us, our energy.
We’re like magnets that pull things into our lives (and on the contrary, push things right back out) based on our energy. It doesn’t matter how hard you try, or how many hours you work. Sometimes, the missing piece is the energetic shift.
Energy Block #1: Ancestral Survival Programming, “We Only Take What We Need”
When your ancestors and generations past experienced famine, genocide, slavery, oppression, and the pressures that many first-generation immigrants faced, we tend to carry those experiences on the cellular level. We are living different lives, but we are carrying the energy of those experiences.
I’ve seen clients clear what I’d call “generational burnout” – meaning, their ancestors who had gained financially, or in other resources, were so traumatized by their experiences, they couldn’t even truly enjoy the rewards of they had been able to achieve from their efforts. They might have surpassed certain financial burdens or limitations, but certain patterns stayed stuck.
And these things are in your cells, dictating what you experience, and what you call into your life.
Energy Block #2: The Fear of Being Seen With More
This block is about visibility and judgement. If you grew up in a family who had a different frequency than you, or you felt like you never really fit in, then expressing and expanding into your most prosperous, successful self can feel a little bit like jumping ship. But you never belonged there – that was your starting point.
To bloom into your fullest frequency, the most you-ing you. The best version of you that has ever been.
With this, comes fears of being rejected by your family, and truly seen, especially when so many of us are living in a generation that is able to choose success, creating our lives, and manifesting our dreams over survival and lifelong hardship.
Energy Block #3: Guilt Around Receiving & Self-Worth
When our parents were raised by parents who were more deeply affected by the ripple effects of trauma, genocide, famine, and war (among others), they often times carried energy blocks around receiving, worthiness, and having amazing things.
A common block I see? Receiving and worthiness blocks because your parents (whether consciously or not) blocked you having good things, because they never had it.
It’s more common than you think.
