What is our third eye, and why is it important?
The third eye is the chakra in between your eyes. It is the chakra responsible for consciousness, your connection to your intuition. It is like an antenna for your intuition – when your third eye is sharp, focused, and realized, you can tap into the infinite portal of wisdom available to you through your intuition.
When your intuition is sharp, your assessments of people, opportunities, and situations can be seriously on point. When it’s blocked or covered up by old, dense energies, your intuition might be delayed or you might not see things as accurately as you think.
If you want to enhance your psychic or healing abilities, especially if you want to work with clients of your own, your third eye holds a LOT of power. At each new level of upgrading and accessing the power held within your third eye, it is like unlocking different doorways to higher knowledge and information. You were already born with the gifts you were meant to share with the world inside of you, and the third eye activations are about letting that out.
What I Wish Someone Would Have Told Me Before I was Psychic About The Third Eye…
#1: To treat my third eye health like regular routine maintenance. When my third eye was clear, open, and activated, I was happier. Because I able to connect to my higher self, my guides, and there was so much EASE, HAPPINESS, and FREEDOM within me that nobody else could give me. After all, we go get teeth cleanings, why don’t we maintain our third eyes, too?
#2: A clear third eye = clarity in your channel. When your intuition is on point, on fire, on the ball, life moves easier. Because you know, intuitively, which move to make. And this has saved me major $$$ and years and TIME and heartache in choosing opportunities, friendships, relationships, and more. Because when your third eye helps you make decisions, you navigate from a higher plane. You aren’t forcing or jamming 2 things together that don’t go. Your guidance iwll help you get from one place to the next.
#3: When you want to shift something in your life, shift your level of thinking about it. Consciousness is upgraded in the third eye. The more light you hold in your third eye, the higher level of a consciousness you can naturally hold there, and integrate into your life. If you want to upgrade it, bring more light there!
How To Open Your Third Eye 101 – Clear The Fear
Want to know how to open your third eye? Clearing the fear around your psychic abilities/intuition is one of the BEST ways to open and clarify your third eye.
Think about it – if you’re a professional chef, and someone gave you a brand new set of gorgeous professional-grade knives for your birthday, but deep down, you’re actually secretly terrified of sharp, pointy objects, do you think you’re going to use them the best you can?
You can’t embrace what you fear.
At each level in my own psychic development journey, the #1 thing I would focus on was clearing FEAR. It was incredibly helpful.
If you fear the truth, fear your power, fear a knowing beyond your current understanding – how are you going to feel safe to integrate it and embody it?
Sometimes, the power behind our third eye is already very active and powerful. It’s about clearing away the old fears and patterns that keep us from accessing this power that is necessary. Remember, you already have your “knives” – it’s time to release the fear of stepping foot into the kitchen!
2 Mini-Tips for Opening Your Third Eye
If you want to know how to open your third eye, a great mini-tip for opening and keeping your third eye balanced and active is to meditate with a piece of amethyst on your third eye.
I highly reccomend buying one specific piece of amethyst to anchor these energies into. Create a dedicated “third eye” amethyst, that you continually reach for when you specifically want to work on your third eye. Tie all of your development to it, and it helps to let all of the energies flow together.
Bonus Tip: Work with clary sage oil by dabbing it on your third eye.
